Wheelset Services

Riley and Son (E) limited offer a full range of wheelset services to the railway industry, from tyre turning to complete assembly and machining. .

 Our wheel lathe is capable of turning wheels up to 6’ in diameter , with a new one capable of  turning 7' going operational this year. We are fully accredited to Railway Group Standard GM./RT 2470.  

  

We are on the Railway Safety and Standards Board list of approved suppliers for the assembly, overhaul and repair of wheelsets for use on the national network.
